Hi! I’m Angel.

Thank you for being here!

My passion is to share knowledge so that anyone can learn, through different modalities, how to listen to their bodies and be empowered and in charge of their own healing and lives.

I understand that experiencing something new that you know little about, like Reiki, can make you feel vulnerable and can be nerve wracking - I’ve been in your shoes, so I get it! It's important to feel comfortable when you’re looking for your potential Reiki practitioner, or spiritual teacher, so here's a little bit about me to see if you like my vibe.

 

About Me

I’m a former Math and Science high school teacher and make-up artist turned Reiki Master from Geelong, Victoria.

I completed my Reiki levels 1 and 2 in Melbourne after experiencing a Reiki session at the suggestion of a friend and falling in love with the way Reiki made me feel.

Since then I have followed my intuition to Rishikesh, India; the birth place of yoga, to complete my Kundalini Yoga Teacher Training and to become a Reiki Master. Back here in Geelong I teach reiki levels 1 and 2, complete face to face and distance healings, live oracle card readings and weekly intuitive readings on Instagram.

I am the founder of Psychic School, which previously a 4-week course, now evolved to a 6 week journey, awakening people to their own intuitive voice and gifts, and teaching them how to use a variety of esoteric tools for total wellbeing. I am also a qualified Flower Essence Practitioner. 

 

My Happy Place

I've lived near the ocean my whole life and have a deep respect for nature. My favourite things to do in my spare time are spend moments at the beach or walking around, anywhere with big trees and open spaces. 

I find these areas especially grounding and filled with a special kind of energy that can't be found to the same, cleansing level in built-up areas.

I feel most "myself" when immersed in these areas of natural beauty and power.

 

How It All Began

I booked my first Reiki session having no idea what Reiki was and not knowing what I was about to experience. I had always loved crystals, had an interest in healing the body naturally and had been using tarot and oracle cards for years, but Reiki healing was completely new to me.

All I knew before booking that first session was that I was feeling flat, emotional and ready for some changes in my life.

A close friend of mine had been seeing someone for reiki and suggested I check it out for myself. After two sessions I knew that I wanted to be a practitioner as it felt so damn good!!

My business started off as Ocean Reiki; an ode to my love for the Ocean and its its healing effect on me. However, over time as my skills increased and knowledge expanded I knew I was offering much more than just the traditional Usui Reiki technique and I wanted the name of my business to reflect that.

I met one of my animal spirit guide’s, the Elk, when I trained in my Level 1 Reiki certificate. It was my first psychic ‘vision’ that I understood clearly and this guide has been with me ever since, bringing me comfort and messages over the years. (I work quite strongly with animal guides and you won’t leave an intuitive healing without knowing which animals are around you!)

I knew that my knew business name needed to have ‘Elk’ in it somewhere and brainstorming with friends lead me to ‘Elkemy’, a play on Alchemy = a seemingly magical process of transformation, creation, or combination. Alchemy also has a scientific meaning of the transmutation (changing states) of matter; which if you read about my history as a Science teacher also feels relevant to me.
